Don’t know why @NPR had to cancel @MorningEdition for the morbid coverage of the Queen’s funeral? Ruined my Monday morning commute. We have been hearing about the Queen for 10 days now. Enough already!

@parag I understand the English being fascinated. But why is the media foisting this on Americans? Only a tiny sliver of the population that's interested in tabloids will watch this. Coronation, I get but funeral?

@pratik All the pomp and circumstance is very visual so TV coverage I can understand. Why on the radio and why on NPR? Also, the reporters covering this were whispering as if they were sitting in Westminster Abbey or as if they were covering a golf tourney. @supremus
