@Gaby I'm curious what would make Micro.blog's bookmarking easier. Maybe a browser extension? We do have the bookmarklet, but that's a little clunkier.
@manton a browser extension would be nice to have for sure. Didn’t the official app had a way to add bookmarks via the share sheet before ? I might be a unique case since most of my daily browsing happens on a windows computer so I depend a lot of chrome browser extensions to add things to whichever device in using. With Micro.blog I need to copy the link and manually add it. Unless there’s an easier way I don’t know about 😅
@Gaby @manton maybe through IFTT? Bookmark in one of your services and have them add it to microblog automagically. 🤷🏽♂️
@Gaby @manton count me in for a browser extension. I currently use Pinboard, the Pinboard Plus extension, and the very good macOS/iOS app Pins. I get the feeling that Pinboard is on its last legs, though. The main reason I upgraded my micro.blog sub was to support the business, but the top secondary reason was bookmarks. What would suit my laziness in the short term would be if I could consume an RSS feed of bookmarks into micro.blog and they would be bookmarked there rather than posted. But I guess I'll take up the "automagic" suggestion from @lukemperez
@Gaby I'm currently using a Shortcut (which uses the Bookmark API) to send to Micro.blog. Basically any URL can be sent via the iOS or macOS Share Sheet this way. I can share it with you later today.
@manton maybe add a Share Sheet action to the Micro.blog app, which could be used to save a Bookmark directly from the Share Sheet without having to use a Shortcut.

@otaviocc There is a share sheet on iOS. When you share from Safari, you’ll get a “Save Bookmark” option for the URL, or you can edit it and make it a blog post.
@manton the share sheet route works for me, especially one that pops on all OSes
@Gaby Do check out the bookmarklet. I use this every day, should work fine on Windows too. It's not as polished as a browser extension, but way better than copy/pasting URLs.
@manton Would be great if this was a pop-up with a place to add tags (best if auto-suggested). Lemme know if you worked on the crossposting idea we discovered with Raindrop
@manton I'm using share intent of indiepass.app for that.. works neat
allows to share from any Android share intent to bookmark or to create a post using micropub
