I read a little of HR 815 to remind myself how the TikTok divestiture works. As much as Congress often looks like chaos in the news, there have to be writers on the staff who know what they’re doing, which is a little reassuring. 🇺🇸
@ronkjeffries I don't know, but I think it's a worthwhile effort. Young people especially are getting effectively all their news from TikTok. It is arguably more powerful than NBC or The New York Times.
@ronkjeffries Nope. Just look at Russia using FB and Twitter. There is no media that is safe from bad faith actors, especially when they have money, power and motivation.
