@macgenie I wonder if a emoji could be assigned to new member posts you make? It would make it easy for us to periodically see new ones you’ve posted and interact.
Just a random thought. Happy holidays!

@ronguest It is a good idea to work on. In the meantime, I could try posting them as new, rather than as replies, so at least people following me would see them in their feed. (🍍 can symbolize hospitality. Any other ideas?)
@macgenie @ronguest I’d also thought of the 👤 emoji, depending on what exactly the timeline would contain. If it’s a Timeline of “Hello, World!” posts, then 👋 maybe does fit best (which @Burk has listed in his tagmoji suggestions for “Introductions”).
@smokey @macgenie @ronguest Origin story and further proof of support for the waving tagmoji.
The good thing with this particular tagmoji is that you could put it into welcome emails, feature it now and then in the newsletter, include it every so often in other parts of the apps, and so on. The "welcome thread" is so well established that a form of it even made it over to the silos and I can't think of any good reason to not implement it on Micro.blog.
@macgenie Are you not supposed to see all the @ replies in your timeline? Is that a setting?
@Alcedine You can. The other option is to only see replies of mutual followers. That is, you see replies between people if you follow them both. Hope I got that right, @macgenie
@macgenie I thought that’s what I meant. So under the restrictive version, I see replies between you and @alcedine only if I’m also following you two, no?
@pratik Yes, you are right. I got confused between restricted and open options. I wish I could delete or edit my comments. 😬
@macgenie Hehe. If only you knew someone who could make that happen 😉 More importantly, may I have my force back?
@smokey I just checked and oh! The term is "remove." Maybe that's why I didn't realize you could delete. 😂
