@manton Been meaning to ask, how has micro.one been for you since launch. Exceeded expectations or…? Just curious, as a happy .one subscriber

@thisness Thanks for being customer! It’s going okay. I was hoping for more interest but I also haven’t spend much time getting the word out.

@manton That’s good. So def worth doing, certainly for me otherwise I wouldn’t be using micro.blog 😀

@manton what’s the difference with micro.one and micro.blog? Are they different products or just different subscriptions? I use Micro.blog.

@slison For now, just different subscriptions. Micro.one has most of the blogging features but is missing a few things, including the cross-posting to Bluesky and other services.

@manton what’s the goal for micro.one versus micro.blog? Is it an easier barrier to entry for new users compared to micro.blog or something? I’m asking not for myself, but from the perspective of people like my mother and father who recently retired and do painting and photography respectively but don’t have blogs or an avenue to share besides larger silos.

@slison Yes, the main goal is to be more accessible to more people, both less expensive and a little simpler in some places. Also to experiment with a different brand that we may do more with later.
