I’m using ChatGPT more and more for coding help. Sometimes I don’t fully trust the answer and double check with Google or Stack Overflow. Today the AI produced some code that I thought it must have completely hallucinated… Does this even work technically? But it ran perfectly.

@manton Have you tried Github copilot? It's quite magical sometimes.

@miu Not yet. I think I prefer asking questions and copy/pasting code as needed, at least for now.

@manton I’m a newbie dev and I spend *a lot* of time writing the prompt so I can get the right result.

As a side effect I’m now thinking much deeper about how my UI should work. I ask it to explain each line and it’s absolutely the best teacher on earth for code.
