Say, @jtr .. I am curious as to how your are doing your social posting between micro.blog and #mastodon. Are you using a tool to sometimes/always post to both services at once?

@sergio_101 micro.blog automatically posts to mastodon (and a bunch of other places like pixelfed and tumblr) if you let it. It also offers an option to post manually, giving you a text box to add what you want. I do a combo of both, depending on the length of the post
