As I am trying or experimenting with “pen and paper” journaling, there’s one setback. And it is getting a good “pen” — or a notebook — with autocorrect.

@Gaby This reminds me of one of the tips I was taught in my Microsoft Office courses when in Word: just write and worry about corrections later.
@kimberlyhirsh @sgtstretch @skoobz @cygnoir my workaround, so far, if i feel i can’t properly spell a word but i know it in spanish then, well let’s just say i have a spanglish journal 😅
@Gaby i have a text group with my siblings.. y cuando hablamos spanglish, it drives my autocorrect crazy..
@sergio_101 hahah, that’s why i try to keep it consistent but yeah, autocorrect and predictive text goes Crazy-Town Banana-Pants
@Gaby My solution: have such bad penmanship that no one can tell if it’s spelled correctly or not!
@Gaby Having recently started writing on paper again, I’ve realized how much my spelling sucks. I was trying to write quesadillas from memory and oh boy!
@Pilchuck @gaby I’m always impressed how some people are masters at recalling things word for word something they’ve read or heard, while I feel I’m “winging it” every time, having got just the gist of the topic.
