When I post something why does it show this instead of the content “My son the hippy! sbphoto42.blog”? @vincent @sridhar maybe you guys can help me figure this out.

@sbphoto42 this happens because you have added a post title to the post. So it won’t show the content. If you don’t add a title, it will show the contents of the post and also the image (as long as it’s below ~280 characters). Hope that makes sense? // @manton

@vincent Thank you for answering the Q. I feel that doesn't make sense at all. lol. Just because I have a title it should show the content. Sorry, I must still be in WP land. MB is still new to me.

@sbphoto42 This is just how the Micro.blog timeline handles post types. There's more information in this help document.

@sbphoto42 Haha! Yes, you have to unlearn some old habits. The title field pops up (on the web) only if you exceed 280 characters. Otherwise everything is expected to be a ... micro blog :) It's easier to read and also will be if it appears in full in the timeline and avoids a click thru. @vincent @simonwoods
