Bye Almanac, Hello Lantern:

I’ve missed being able to quickly search for a movie or TV show to grab the year or link when posting to Micro.blog. Which is why I built Lantern.

Saying goodbye to an okay blogging platform with an excellent name and replacing it with Lantern.

@rknightuk That's fair. I have mixed feelings about giving things ratings. I only do it on Letterboxed because they're there, so it kind of encourages you to leave them.

@rknightuk another thought - offer ability to post the LastFM image as part of the post ... definitely in the 'nice to have'. GREAT job.

@JohnPhilpin That does work but only for albums. For some reason, the Last.fm API doesn’t give images for tracks or artists.
