I’m wondering how-to add images in between texts on Micro.blog? I mean, like this post by @Manton.

@ridwan iA Writer would be your best bet to do this. Or Mimi Uploader.

@ridwan one way would be to use iA Writer since it lest you compose posts and add images plus connect you Micro.blog account and post directly from it. That’s one way I do it. Or if you use drafts or another ways, you can use the app Mimi to create image links and put them wherever within the post.

@mpmilestogo @ridwan That's about it. My favorite.

Also Mimi, where you upload the photos before, and get the links ready to paste on your post. And I forgot Sunlit, which allows you to mix photos and text as well. iA Writer offers, in my opinion, the cleaner and best looking way of going about it.

@ridwan For some posts that are mostly photos, I use our iOS app Sunlit, but for that particular post, I uploaded the photos first using the Uploads section on Micro.blog, then copy/pasted the photo references into the text using the Copy HTML button. And often I will use MarsEdit.

@ridwan I too was looking a while back for the best way to do this. Some of it all depends on where you write from. I recently found Quill as a good alternative when writing via the browser if you want to add inline pictures.

@maique Nice one. iA Writer seems really really good. I like their anti-subscription model.

@ericmwalk I usually start composing on Evernote. I haven't tried Quill yet.

@ridwan I will say I have been using iA Writer and I do like it as nice place to start some of my longer thoughts.

@ridwan I upload images first, create a new post, save as draft, copy HTML for image, go back to the drag post and paste in the image HTML.

Alternatively, I open two browser tabs, one open to the photo and the other to the post and copy/paste image HTML.

Alternatively, I’ll use MarsEdit.
