The third-party Mastodon web app Phanpy has a conversation view that reminds me a lot of Tweetie on iPad. The multi-pane layout in that app never really caught on, but I always thought it was a nice use of space.
@manton I love this client. It has become the main client for me to access all timelines. Both on desktop/laptops and mobile. Conversations view is useful. And it's full of other thoughtful small touches.
@renevanbelzen it works terrific if you do the “Add to Homescreen” with it. Feels just like a native app. Not sure how notifications are handled though.
