@manton Not sure why but this post never imported. That's fine but wondered if you had any thoughts on referring to users on other social networks? I'd really like to be able to write @pyrmont:twitter.com and have the links be intelligently handled.

@pyrmont We can consider it, although there are some other inconsistencies with @-mentions that I'd like to make sure we handle well first. Other than basic cross-posting, I've kind of resisted adding more Twitter-specific features because often if you need something that specialized, it's better to just disable cross-posting and handle the tweet manually.
