Watched the BlackBerry movie and enjoyed it. Relevant for today too: it’s not a good idea to bet against Apple. Vision Pro is still quite different than every previous Apple product, though… Trying to perfect a niche device category vs. improving a mainstream device that people already want.

@manton not seen the movie … but I think that the RIM story is more about hubris … than a bet against apple … I mean what was apple back then?

@pratik Some days I really do long for the accuracy of that tiny keyboard. Autocorrect is a constant headache. I would never trade the larger screen away though. Design in the real world always involves trade-offs and Apple made the right bet for the mass market.
