Added support for Bluesky’s domain name verification. If your blog domain on Micro.blog is the handle you want on Bluesky, just sign in to Bluesky under Account → Edit Sources & Cross-posting. Micro.blog will automatically set up verification.

@news This is different from being able to follow people on Bluesky who have a custom domain set up there, right? I want to follow Anil Dash on Bluesky via Micro.blog but he has a custom domain there. @manton

@pratik Still no way to follow Bluesky users that use their own domain, because Micro.blog thinks it’s their blog. We need to add some kind of special toggle… It’s a bit of uncharted territory for the social web.

@hall Oh! So this is the root usability issue. The slash is a bug, it shouldn’t allow that, but differentiating blog from Bluesky is tricky.

@manton OK, so Bluesky feeds through from the plain link, then in the header it links to the blog.
