@danielpunkass I was recently trying to edit Micro.blog posts by either removing or adding categories to posts. After I hit 'Send to Blog,' do I have to wait some time before working on the next post? I'm afraid, I was doing it too quickly that the change wasn't registered for some posts, as I later realized. BTW I've 7,500 posts.

@pratik You shouldn't have to wait, as far as I know, but there is usually some delay before edits are "live" on your site. @Manton can probably speak more to this. If it seems like the change wasn't registered it might just be "still in the pipeline" on the Micro.blog end.

@danielpunkass I suspected as much. This was a month ago. I did the changes directly on Micro.blog web after I thought the changes weren’t going thru

@danielpunkass @pratik Remember there's sort of two things: the posts in the Posts screen in M.b, and the posts at your web site. Posts screen should update immediately from MarsEdit. On your site, if there were lots of overlapping edits that could affect the timing of what is published when.

@manton @danielpunkass but would a second change overrule the first one or I just would need to give all edits time to see on the blog?

@pratik @danielpunkass If you edited a post with MarsEdit, then later edited the same post in Micro.blog and the first edit wasn’t already there, then something must have gone wrong between MarsEdit and Micro.blog. That should usually show some kind of error in MarsEdit, though.
