@donnydavis Editing seems to fail with the Drafts action. No idea why. Did not edit the tags, just edited text and uses action again. Got an error.

@maique hey. Well, this is embarrassing. I was able to reproduce the issue. Looks like it is related to the recent changes in how Drafts handles tags. I thought that everything was still good, but looks like I missed this issue. 🤦🏼‍♂️ I’ll get a fix pushed up for it, probably tomorrow.

@donnydavis Not embarrassing at all, quite the contrary 🙂 Things break all the time, and unexpected changes are sure to do so. In the end I’m actually happy this happened, now you’re aware of the situation.

@maique @donnydavis Awesome. Didn’t want to rush you but will you also be fixing the categories not showing up as well?

@pratik no worries. Please keep me accountable. 😅 Sorry that I’ve been quiet about that. I’ve been looking into it, but haven’t been able to reproduce yet. I added about 20 categories and all of them are showing up. I am curious if it is related to the changes with tags. 🤔

@donnydavis I can try and reinstall it and check. Also, I had been fiddling in it to avoid it asking me which blog to post since I always post it to the same blog (others are the test and Twitter archive ones).

@donnydavis For me the categories stopped appearing before the changes in how Drafts handled tags.

@crossingthethreshold @pratik I just realized that I have some changes locally that I haven’t released yet. 🤦🏼‍♂️ I’ve rewritten the majority of the code b/c it was a bit cumbersome to maintain and make changes to. So I may have already fixed the issue and didn’t realize it. Hopefully that will fix the categories issue when I push a fix for the editing error.

@donnydavis Will the new version update automagically in Drafts, or does it have to be installed manually?

@pratik I was already thinking of some changes around the blog selection. It was mainly around handling multiple blogs, but I’ll see what I can do for your scenario. That makes sense, if you never want to change where you post to.

@crossingthethreshold it doesn’t update automatically, unfortunately. I’ll let you know once I get it pushed up though. 🙂
