Random alt-text-related question: is the “alt text is usually less than 100 characters” statement still true to this day? I know and have seen others who have written stuff way longer than that, and even I find myself going over especially when I need to provide context.
@chiawase I’ve been typing way more than that. I think as long as you offer enough context to describe the photo.
@pratik yeah, agree 😆 I get weirded out with alt text fields that kinda limit the number of characters because sometimes the image asks for more than the limit they set (e.g. LinkedIn) 😅
