This whole election of house speaker is so sad and disgusting. McCarthy lost the vote 11 times. When will he get that they don’t want him? Even for something that I really really want, I’d give up at 4th or 5th “NO” but, I am not a powerhungry politician with no selfrespect.
@pratik Yeah! I think Jeffries should find 4-5 republicans to vote for him. I am sure it is not that difficult. Offer them committee seats, bags of money - whatever those scumbags ask for. Democrats need to learn politicking from India and Israel.
@Parag Haha! I bet. They would get instantly primaried next time but hey, GOP is already being held hostage by extremists so might as well lose a few more moderates. I'm hoping the GOP will split up coz this is unsustainable. At least the Progressive Left on the Dem side understands these things better.
