@supremus Yes, I was just experimenting with this last week actually. We will have a feature for this. The problem is the current Twitter archive can be quite big and includes a lot of private information that we obviously don't want to share.
@manton Have you seen this neat way to make an site from your Twitter activity? tinysubversions.com/twitter-a...
@manton oh that is awesome! I am happy to test it out whenever you are ready. No hurry but glad to know it’s in the works. Thank you!
@dsh1705 I no longer I have the zip file but wonder if re-zipping the directory and uploading it would work? @supremus
@manton @supremus That's great to hear. Can't say about size but the information was shared with a much wider audience including ones we have no idea about so I wouldn't worry about privacy. Maybe if we could put all imported posts into a category, we could manually review at our leisure. I'm guessing replies and retweets will not be included and only original tweets.
@manton uploading the tweets.js and images folder rather than the whole zip file would be the way to go.
Ideally, please be compatible with Tweetback Canonical github.com/tweetback...
Over time, self hosted archives can interlink to each other.
