The move has been made!

All I needed was a painless way to post, and I thought about a Shortcut. Before I could even open the Shortcuts app, Greg Morris came to the rescue. While I slept! And Pratik as well! Talk about a great community…

@pratik The one he sent does everything in one go: upload the photo, ask for text, and post.

@maique Cool. Got it. Found it after I asked you 😀 Also, re: photos I love that I can post to Glass and then share to Micro.blog from there. MB helpfully downloads the photo and the caption in the Share sheet.

Now wondering if I can simply plug in my Glass RSS feed to import the photo as a new post in my MB photoblog thanks to the new "create post from RSS" that @manton recently introduced.

@pratik @maique The only problem with the new feed import feature is that it doesn't yet copy the actual photo too, so it would still link out to Glass for that. That's on the to-do list.

@manton @maique I’m glad I asked. I was going to test it over the weekend but yeah, that would be perfect. The Share options works fine for now but still is an extra step ☺️

@maique It asked for the caption text but needed to ask to add the alt text too. He modified it, and sent a link. @gr36 for President!

@ericalba Although I wish Glass supports Micropub API. We have sent them a request on their feedback page and it seems popular enough. Hopefully if more people vote for it, they'll prioritize it on their roadmap.
