@JohnPhilpin no she’s not… Democrats suck at convincing people they have done anything good and even at driving home the atrocious behavior on the other side… two things could save them from themselves. The Supreme Court overturning Roe v Wade, which they are likely to do, and the Jan 6 Committee cranking out the public hearings which they are running out of time to do.
@JohnPhilpin @mbkriegh I remain conflicted about this. Without Manchin, we wouldn’t control the Senate coz good luck getting the reddest state to vote for a more liberal Democrat. Yes, decoupling BBB from the Infrastructure plan meant BBB didn’t get passed. What was the option? Not passing even Infrastructure bill? AOC mentions a funerals bill she worked with Schumer on and got passed. Do you think that bill would even get on the floor with Republicans in charge?
