An email from Maciej Ceglowski asking to convert the one-time fee for Pinboard to the new subscription one. I’ll have to review my use to see if it’s worth it.

@pratik Huh. I haven’t received that email (yet).
(Frankly, I just don’t use Pinboard enough to justify another subscription.)
@AngeloStavrow Just got it. Apparently, 2/3rds of users are on the fixed price model. I don’t actively use it and now there are more seamless options (Reading List, etc.)
@pratik That many, huh? It was an interesting pricing experiment at the time, but I guess that it wasn’t as sustainable as expected. 🤷
@peterimoore That’s what I’ve been using as well. I still never go back and read any of it, of course, but that’s besides the point. 😅
@peterimoore @angelostavrow He does lay out his reasons why including wanting to hire developers and create a unified pricing structure. I’m not convinced coz I like it for its barebones structure.
Re: you not getting the email, I read it carefully and right at the end, he says, “_ reaching out to just the oldest of old users_”
@peterimoore @angelostavrow The third-party apps have always been an issue including Pukka (remember?) I have used several over the years and just when I find one that I like, it wasn’t updated later.
