Time flies! Thought I should get ready to be able to easily type 2023 now we’re soon to be in 2022. Found my TextExpander snippet of y3 still expanded to 2013. That what happens when you use an app for more than a decade! Also found several old snippets I needed a decade ago! 😮
@jean I very much doubt it was my idea! I keep a few previous years and a bunch of years to come. I use it surprisingly often.
@Miraz How do you use Text Expander? I’ve considered it several times, but haven’t found a perfect use case for it yet.
@Alligator It’s utterly integral to my whole day. A few examples: type out the date and / or time in various formats, my email address, my street address, my phone number, heck, my full name! Emojis, html codes, other email addresses, web addresses. It corrects some of my frequent typos. Stuff I keep in my journal, such as sleep amount and quality, taking dogs to the beach — which track by which method, other addresses, eg region, country, nearby towns, email signatures, email closing. There are just too many things to mention. What I don’t understand is how anyone can use their computer for more than 2 minutes and not use TextExpander. 😆
