@podiboq So far, so good. I’m doing my best! Annoyingly enough I’m busier than I’ve been in the past two years 😔 Usually I’m busy for a day or two a week outside, and this month it’s crazy, everyday shooting from morning until dinner time!
Trying to stay healthy, or all of us will be locked inside. For now I’m ok, and the new rules say that I’m not even a high risk contact, since I’ve had the booster. I don’t even have to isolate ¯_(ツ)_/¯
@maique whoa! Hang in there! We got the dreaded message from kindergarten monday. Two kids sick there. Today: two teachers. So our boy will have some vacation time at least until Monday for the dust to settle there. 🙃
@pcora It’s spreading SO fast! Every day we get new emails from kindergarten. They’re already short on staff, as new cases keep showing up. Hope you stay safe to the end of this mess.
@maique @pcora same here. My little one was a contact 2 weeks ago and this week.
First a kid in her class, the second time we do not really know who had it. Anyway, here the rule is an auto-test the day they found out and another 2 tests at J+2 and J+4.
For now, we were lucky... But it won't take long before she'll get it for sure and then we'll have it too.
@maique my wife went down earlier in the month, and when I reported it to work, they said “oh, you’re boosted so just wear a mask around collages for five days and then test.” 🤯 (tested negative, and so no mask required thereafter.)
@podiboq I’m keeping my fingers crossed, for you and for me. I’ve been testing every day, because I’m working with a lot of people around me these days, even if we try to keep a distance. Sometimes it’s hard, but I want to make sure I’m not putting anyone at risk, as far as I can do it.
@maique It seems to be quick though. My area started to feel it mid December and now numbers are dropping off pretty steeply. Hoping thats a trend everywhere Omicron goes.

@maique My godson and my friend (his father) are positive as well, my son's therapist has her daughter positive as well. It's insane how fast it's spreading.

@maique Omicron, I'm convinced, is unstoppable. It ripped through our community over the past month, and many people we knew were sick. Fortunately nobody sick enough to worry about hospitalization. The most vocal anti-vaccine person we know was the sickest, which would make me want to gloat if he weren't a friend whom I like.
@JMaxB Glad everyone made it, even that particular one 😊 Not wishing harm to anyone, but maybe we would be better off, all of us, if they’d just get the damn vaccine. Maybe we’d prevent another, nastier, variant 😔
@maique Sigh. Take care and wish they have a speedy recovery. I am hearing about a lot of cases recently, especially with kids too. Not good.😟
@amit Everyone is getting it, but kids are now one of the largest groups here. They take it home from school, parents get it, sometimes grandparents as well.
In yesterday’s paper they talked about something like 72% of the whole population will have had it in a couple of weeks or so…
