@gr36 @manton I ran a Pagespeed Insight on my site lastnight and it listed an image that wasn’t available, but I thought it was maybe just a glitch or something I removed.
@pimoore @gr36 Hmm, I'm not familiar with that happening recently... I'll look out for it. If you notice it, I assume reloading the page everything works?
@manton @gr36 It won’t let me expand the link, so I can’t see the full image URL. However I’m seeing much better results today than lastnight even though nothing has changed? My mobile score is 96 this morning, while yesterday it was in the 50s. I’m getting “warnings” in the red for image resizing, next-gen formats, and efficiently encoding. Does Micro.blog do anything on the back-end for image handling and optimization?
@pimoore It scales images down a little to try to find a good balance between file size and quality. We're also adding a new server within the next week that should resolve any lingering HTTPS issues that pop up sometimes, so I'm curious what impact that will have on what you're seeing. Keep me posted!
