@ReaderJohn Would not be bold and provocative if ICE actually followed the law and obeyed the constitution.
We now have countless examples of their not doing so. Including the detainment I witnessed yesterday.
@patrickrhone So noted. I’m not denying it. But do you doubt that ICE agents might well obsess over how to punish the tap room for barring them, and that snatching improperly documented workers would be top-of-the-list?
@ReaderJohn I’m not sure this is the space to describe all that is happening here (Donny Dictator and KKK Gnome ordered another 500 agents here yesterday) but lets just say that they are doing that regardless. They are being indiscriminate. No need to specifically target any particular business etc. when you have the means (and are) attacking them all. I can tell you a dozen businesses that were subject to ICE activity just yesterday. And that’s just the ones I’ve heard about.
I guess what I’m trying to say is that the signs do not make them more or less likely to be targeted. All are being targeted anyway. We have about 3000 of the little nazis here driving around and making trouble. The strategy is a full out blitz. Shock and awe.
The signs are more of a “we know our rights even if you deny them” message. The cards and whistles are a “we are letting our customers know their rights and give them the means to warn others of your presence.”
@ReaderJohn Oh, I should also mention they are literally going door-to-door in some neighborhoods and asking people if they have know of any immigrants living in the neighborhood.

Another tell is that they are calling peaceful protestors and observers “domestic terrorists”.
As these people have proven time and time again, they are prone to projection. Anything they are accusing others of doing, is because they themselves are guilty of the act.
