Bennu Coffee might be too serious about their wi-fi passwords. ☕️

@manton how does it work? A local coffee shop near me has major issues with people working there all day using the free WiFi and only buying one drink.

@philbowell I'm not sure. I guess they rotate out the passcodes every day or week? I don't think they change during the day. My rule of thumb is if you stay longer than a few hours, you should buy something else.

@manton Are these even that secure?

@adhdDad They seem secure to me, ignoring that you could just walk into the coffee shop and find one of these slips of paper on the floor from someone else.

@philbowell when I lived in Scotland, there was a shop that had paywall passcode on your receipt from a purchase, which only worked for one hour after using. The etiquette for shops there was generally you should think about buying something after an hour and definitely buy something after two.

@manton Good point. But they could just post it on the wall too.
