My updated mobile writing setup. Handles both prose and code pretty darn well.

@MrKapowski snap! same keyboard. It would be my ideal keyboard ever of it was backlit and had a rechargable battery. Great feel though

@MrKapowski @kaa The keyboard looks identical to mine — a K380? I find it excellent. But I don’t think I’ve ever used the keyboard with the iPad in landscacpe orientation. It’s always portrait for writing.

@kaa yeah, this was my first time out with it. Really comfortable to type on! I just had to remind myself where all of the symbols on a Mac keyboard were!

@artkavanagh I believe it is the 380. I nearly went with the model that has the built-in device holder, but it looked much bigger in the photos. Normally I’d have it in portrait mode, but I wanted to try some of the multitasking features.

@MrKapowski I really like the 380—I keep one in my car and mostly use it for writing on my phone while waiting to pick up the kids from school.

@MrKapowski Yes, I guessed that the orientation was because of multitasking.

@MrKapowski my favourite part are the flipping buttons to different sources. But yeah the feedback from the buttons is different but awesome.

@artkavanagh that’s the one :). Which colour do you have?

@kaa Mine is grey. I would have liked blue but grey was cheaper and in stock, so it was an easy choice. I’ve used it only with the iPad so far, so haven’t tried switching to another device. Nice to know the option is there though. It reconnects with the iPad much more quickly than my old Apple wireless keyboard used to.
