I’m currently torn between these two poles; sometimes it feels like arguing about the existence of spell checkers or OCR, other times a vile and destructive threat.
@paulrobertlloyd Thanks, I love this kind of cross-site discussion too. I think the division on AI is partly because there's so much possibility, both good and very bad.
@manton All this generative AI stuff and related/supporting technologies is happening so fast… I mean go back to October 2022, right before OpenAI ChatGPT…less than two years! I’m not sure we have enough time to comprehend all the implications surrounding the use of AI tech in our daily lives…
