Now heading into my third week of COVID. My first time in the rodeo. Can’t imagine what getting it in the beginning would have been like. I am fully vaccinated and got Paxlovid in the beginning of this round. So tired of not being able to go anywhere.

@mbkriegh Having had it in the beginning, I can attest it was hell. 29 bags of Remdesivir. A few hours from intubation. My energy levels have never bounced back. It was 3 months before any form of cardio was possible.

@paulcraig901 I had it easy by comparison, but even now it’s no joke.

@stupendousman thanks! Feeling much better today. Fingers crossed there isn’t another rebound.

@paulcraig901 do you feel you will ever get back to what used to be normal?

@mbkriegh I’m afraid not. I’m a long hauler now. I manage well most days. The real key is consistent exercise once cleared by your doctor. Go slow, go easy. It will help with the fatigue.

@paulcraig901 my energy level has been pretty good. Just can’t seem to completely shake nasal and lung congestion.

@mbkriegh That’s going to take time. I’m sorry you’re going through this. It is pure hell and I wish it on no one.

@paulcraig901 thanks. I will be a lot more circumspect about putting myself at risk going forward. I have no desire to get it again. Hope you improve in any way possible.
