I want to get a game to play with my kids but…. we’re not really board game people. We play cards against humanity but are all kind of tired of that. We have exploding kittens too but it wasn’t a hit. Any recommendations for teen+adult games that are funny and move fast?

@Annie you guys ever play any of those phone party games? I liked Drawful and Codenames.

@Annie Not a card game but we really enjoy the collaborative nature of Forbidden Island.

@tracydurnell code names sounds like it would be a hit.. we had a board game version of something like this that they liked but it got old after you’d run all 12 of the scenarios…

@patrickrhone this looks fun and also beautifully done. And for that price, worth a try!

@Annie It’s become a cabin tradition for us and moves relatively quickly.

@Annie I would recommend Dixit. I have seen so many “non-board game” people get converted from this game.

@Annie My family loves to go to a coffee shop and bring Dungeon Mayhem to play.

@Annie As people who’ve played several multi-year campaigns, my daughter and I jokingly refer to it as “D&D for people with commitment issues.” 😂 It’s a very inviting distillation of D&D’s class-based fighting mechanics.
