My son was hired to play in the orchestra for holiday performances of a choir over the weekend. This was his first ever gig as a musician and was paid very well. Now he is saying that Iโ€™ll have to pay the same rate if I want him to rake the leaves and clean the yard when he comes home. ๐Ÿ˜ณ

@Parag The market rules? Hope heโ€™s only kidding about that. I did more chores at home after starting to get a paycheque than before, always free, (well, I got a place to stay, and good food that is). Maybe charge him for dinner then. ๐Ÿ˜…

@Parag @odd I am sure too. My son tries not get paid for chores but knows he will not. However, I do pay him for packing pressie because he is pretty good at it.
