@baldur Yes. In the winter and early spring, we get a lot of meat-tits(?) and such clinging to the wall near the outside of the windows, probably because they can feel the heat coming from the inside. And I try to sit still as not to startle them. Their life is hard enough already. 🐤
@odd I think that would be the flotmeisa in Icelandic? (Bird names are so fun and weird.)
Thankfully, in this instance, the bird returned as soon as I left the kitchen. 🙂
@baldur same, except it is my hummingbird feeder is right outside my kitchen window (aka my bird blind)
@anniegreens Thankfully the redwings and blackbirds that are my main regulars don't really mind me being in the kitchen as long as I'm not too close.
