Been going through a box of CD’s I inherited from a friend who left this earth a number of years ago. She had not one, not two, not three, but four CD’s of music featured on the TV show Miami Vice. Was a big fan of the show back in the day. Apparently she was an even bigger fan!
@mbkriegh The Jan Hammer tunes were innovative and a staple mark of the early 80s. I loved the series too.
@odd as challenging to credulity as the base premise was, I thought it was a great show from the beginning. Really more about style than substance. Or perhaps as much about style as substance.

It was a fun show. I read while it was on that the annual budget of the actual Miami vice squad was less than the cost of one episode of Miami Vice.
