I’m thrilled with this view of Frankfurt International from my hotel room. Great place to end this trip.

@kurite Before the pandemic, I had a bucket list of airport hotels I wanted to stay in. Denver and Vancouver were on the list. I've stayed multiple times at the Munich Airport hotel, which is where I discovered how much I enjoy the experience of walking off the concourse and into your hotel. And watching the planes, of course!

@jean @kurite I didn’t know this is a thing! Now I have something to plan for some future trip ☺️ I‘m pretty sure I would just sit there for hours and watch those planes come and go with all the swarming around them…

@hutaffe @jean yeah I just relaxed & watched the planes land, took pictures. Was lucky the wind was right for landings from the east. The logistics of it all is impressive. I’m sold on the hotel connected to airport experience. No stress on departure! The Sheraton hotel.

@odd woah. I didn’t see that this time. We didn’t get a chance to go to the memorial at Munich.
