@dejus Yes, when you mention it, I remember having heard that. When we had English lessons in 4.th grade (++) we learned that they were called zebra crossings, because we learned British English. I thought it was a funny name. In Norwegian they’re called “fotgjengerovergang”(singular), which translates (my translation) as “pedestrian walkway”.

PS: When I was little, I thought we had to only walk on the white markings, or the cars (the drivers) were allowed to run us down! 😅
