@johnjohnston «Øyenstikker», (eye-poker) in Norwegian. I remember being in a pond when I was little, and they’d fly right overhead, and I thought they’d poke my eyes out. 👀

@johnjohnston We call the Crane fly “Mygghank” (mygg=mosquito). “-hank”=??? “Handle”? I read they’ve found 4-5000 year old (dead) crane flies inside the pyramids.
