At my (self imposed) newsletter subscription quota but found a new newsletter that I really like and would find useful. So, wrestling with which current subscription to cut or, against my better judgment and available time, raise my quota by 1.

@patrickrhone This looks like a great example of classic internet. A passion project that isn't really relevant to me but I'm so glad it exists! And now I'm wondering what the other items on your newsletter list are!

@ChrisJWilson That’s a great idea to start with that you likely didn’t know you were suggesting…

Make a list of current subscriptions and their frequency.

@patrickrhone just pretend it's the US debt ceiling and keep raising your quota every year. ;)

@patrickrhone So what's your newsletter quota then, or is that "eyes only" information?

@matthewlang The hard answer is 10. The soft answer is that even that number is a bit fungible because some of those are infrequent or "blue moon" sort of things. So, it can move lower if I begin to feel overwhelmed by them.

@patrickrhone Makes sense to allow for those newsletters that are infrequent.

@ChrisJWilson @matthewlang Here's the main ones off the top of my head (this list is missing a couple I believe)

@matthewlang I think the better hard answer is 5 weekly and/or daily ones.

But, if all five were daily that number might quickly drop to 1 or 2.

See what I mean by feel?

@patrickrhone the addition of frequencies is a really great touch. I remember using unroll.me to do a newsletter audit in the past for a similar effect.
