Updated the Mac app to version 3.6.6, fixing several issues.

@news I am really liking the recent updates to the Mac. Very intuitive and aligned to the web

@news I installed it and it’s immediately crashing on load. Rebooted my iMac and still doing it.

@news @manton I updated to the new version of the Mac OS app but it’s now not opening and I’m just getting an error. I even tried downloading the new version and reinstalling but had the same error. I can email a screenshot of the error if it’s of use.

@peterw Sorry, looks like I must’ve broken something on certain Macs. Can you try downloading the previous version 3.5.5 here.

@newdawn Glad the restore to the previous version worked. I’m trying to figure out what changed. What version of macOS are you running?

@manton the latest, 15.6. It’s weird, I tried to reply with the app and it just kept going back to the conversation. Doing my reply here from the website (via Safari)

@newdawn ok, now I can reply via the app. Not sure if replying through the web made the app reply now work. Still using 3.6.5 version. Not sure if that tidbit will help

@manton thanks for the link, the reinstalled earlier version is working fine. If it helps narrow things down I’m using a 2024 M4 Mac Mini with Sequoia 15.6. I wonder if there is something in the Sequoia update pushed out a few days ago that is causing the issue.

@news I also experienced the crash on open with version 3.6.6. M1 Macbook Pro running Sequoia 15.6.

@news unfortunately the app crashes on open every time.

@manton same issues. It crashed and I have that log to send to Apple, would it be useful for you?
