Not trying to overhype this but I’m so excited about what we’re going to launch in Micro.blog next month. It’s coming along really well and expanding beyond what I first thought it would look like. Meanwhile the everyday stuff continues too, working on fixes and servers this week.

@maique Thanks! Sort of related, I know you disabled the Micro.blog photos CDN after getting burned with downtime, but I recommend trying it again. It really is a lot faster now.
@maique Got it, that’s good to know. I think we need a better strategy for cross-posting issues… Right now, it tries multiple times to attach a photo and if it fails, it sends as text-only, but that’s obviously problematic. If we had a “retry this” button that would give more control in case of errors.

@darrenhester Micro.blog always gets updated from time to time with larger releases once in a while. Having a direct line (via Micro.blog, not his phone number, mind you!) with @manton is cool!
@numericcitizen Nope. My not using CDN is for photos hosted on Micro.blog. But I’m hoping Micro.blog downloads the linked photo from my Glass-imported posts and uploads them to Micro.blog. So that way I have everything in one place and Glass is in fact the defacto backup. I love posting on Glass for its nice UI design and interactions.
