Let us try this Obsidian thing again, for like the 6th time. I just want a good note-taking solution for work and I don’t like OneNote.

@Gaby I’m teetering on the same decision, also for the nth time.

@Gabz just pay attention that Obsidian has a Commercial Use license, which should be used when "using Obsidian for revenue-generating or work-related activities within a for‑profit organization that has two or more employees." In my company we can't use Obsidian because of that.

@Gabz well shucks! out of context as I am, still feel obligated to note... there are so many other means of notetaking for work between those hehe. can I ask what platform(s)?

@neoyokel Mainly Windows and if it can sync to my iphone, that'd be cool but not necesarly needed.

@Gabz well, it might seem lame, but have you given Simplenote a look? it's about as cross-platform and trustworthy as such a service can be and supports Markdown without turning it into a whole ethos lol.

@Gabz Why do we do this to ourselves? I have tried nearly as many times as you, but no. Apple Notes it is for me.

@neoyokel actually I do use Simplenote, often, but I mainly use it for snippets and lists or if I need to “move” a piece of text between my iPhone and the windows computer or viceversa. Hm! Perhaps I need to change my approach

@Gabz I hate on pre, but can’t install any software on my work computer. I can use most web solutions though.
