@ndreas I really like their app. But canā€™t justify 99 + VAT for email. Specially since Fastmail has been serving me well for the past years for less than half.

@vincent @ndreas it is now that I had paid for another year, almost, well, by mistake lol. It is great is just expensive, unless, you really take advantage of their blogging feature then I guess is wroth it, having a blog and an email service. But most of us are already paying for a blog hosting service and have our own domains (which hey does not) that makes it less valuable at that price tag. If that mkaes any sense.

@ndreas As far as I'm concerned, it's one of the subscriptions that will go on for as long as they're around. Not expensive considering what they offer: stellar service, all the domains I need, aliases, masked email, freedom to use whatever email app you want on every platform, and no issues whatsoever. I left Google's email over a decade ago, and I've been happy ever since. Whenever I get a new domain, the first thing I'll do is add it to Fastmail.

If you're looking for a reliable email service, that's the one I'd pick. It works, I never have to worry about it. @rom

@ndreas Fastmail is very well worth it. The service is superb and the support is awesome! There is an official iOS app. but no Mac app (except for third-party, FMail).

@maique @ndreas exactly. Got @omg.lol account and boom! Added to Fastmail. Happy with the Sending Identities feature, which allows me to forward email and still send as that email address.

@ndreas @rom Second this, and adding that FastMail also supports native iOS push notifications. Thereā€™s also JMAP, which should replace IMAP across the board as itā€™s crazy fast. Syncing things is literally instantaneous, so great!

@pimoore @ndreas YES! As opposed to what non-standard ways GMail is doing it! :)
