Just wondered why I didn’t see any updates on my timeline after migrating my mastodon account to micro.blog, but soon found out: micro.blog doesn’t do that by default, but only migrates followers.

But getting and importing my followings was easy enough.

Now let’s see how flooded my timeline is now.

@william Sorry, we do this to discourage spammers from using the service. You can add a payment method and immediately cancel the subscription, and then continue to reply to people indefinitely after that without paying.

@william @muhh Thanks! I should have also mentioned that we do want to add a way to reply directly on someone's blog, similar to traditional blog comments. This has been on our to-do list for a while.

@william Email is probably the easiest way to go, next to just commenting here. The one _advantage_ of M.b comments is that they’ll show up at the bottom of the post, on the blog page. Glad you find it helpful.
