@incanus I just realized that all these old LEGO Idea books are available as scanned pdf’s, so I just downloaded a copy of 6000. I still wouldn't mind a physical copy one day.

@cm @incanus eBay and Bricklink.com BrickLink is a global marketplace of people selling sets and individual parts. Be prepared to be shocked by how expensive these can be. This particular set I cobbled together by acquiring the individual pieces, but other sets I bought whole.

@mpospese I still have two copies of the physical book (one mine, one my brother’s). As best I can remember, it was my first idea book, though I have a number of later ones from the 80s. As much hell as that one has been through, I highly doubt I had an older one.
