I’m starting a few days early, but I’m really enjoying this album. Christmas Jazz is really the way to go. 💿
@marmanold I listen to a ton of Christmas jazz—yes, also during Advent—and I love Geri Allen's album A Child is Born; Carla Bley and Steve Swallow's Carla's Christmas Carols is also great.

@marmanold based on the assumptions I’m making just by viewing your profile and feed, you MUST listen to the album The Darkest Night of the Year by Over the Rhine. It’s my favorite Christmas record and it honors the divine mystery of the season.
