@miljko @lewism I suspect it's Scott P. Scheper's book Antinet Zettelkasten for Dan Allosso's book club starting on December 3rd?
@chrisaldrich There's also Sönke Ahrens. How to Take Smart Notes: One Simple Technique to Boost Writing, Learning and Thinking — for Students, Academics, and Nonfiction Book Writers.
@chrisaldrich “Expected publication: December 6th 2022” 🤔 I’d pre-order if I could!
@miljko yes @chrisaldrich is correct on both counts. I am 10% through the book and enjoying it so far . Looking forward to a lively discussion about it also.
@Medievalist I've done some heavy spelunking in this area and have several dozens of texts covering portions of most of the past five centuries. Many are in this shared Zotero group if it's your sort of rabbit hole: https://www.zotero.org/groups/4676190/toolsforthought
@miljko If you'd like to join Dan's book club, I think he's got an early copy of it in the shared (Obsidian) repository for the group. Ping him via the earlier link which should have his email address. I spoke with Scott who said he wasn't doing any pre-ordering options.
@Medievalist I thought it was that one too, but looks like it is a new book, which is great. Ahrens' book is a good introduction and I wish something like that was around 20 years ago when I started med school.
@chrisaldrich That would be great. Just emailed him, so I hope we'll see each other in a few weeks!
Side note: Would've been nice to be part of the book club as I was reading Dawn of Everything since it's completely outside of my field.
