There’s no place I appreciate Apple Pay more than at the gas station air pump, instead of using quarters. 🛞

@manton Here in Sweden, I’ve never seen an air pump that costs money. The air is free 😊

@manton haha, 100% agree! Had to use mine in a sketchy part of Chicago last weekend with the rental car I had. Somebody had dented the coin slot so you couldn’t add any even if you had enough quarters with you.

@manton In most of the US if you purchase gas, they have to provide you with water and air for free…

@JohnBrady Yeah, my preference is Discount Tire which will check and top off your air for free… but this was a slight emergency.

@thosch @robertbirming Air should be free! Just another way that some places here try to squeeze out a couple dollars from customers whenever they can.

@manton I never leave home without a portable inflator/air compressor in the car. Worth its price ($25-50).

@manton Gotta say I’ve been very happy with the portable pump I keep in the car and can plug into what used to be the cigarette lighter. Just one too many times I’ve had to try three gas stations before I found one with a working pump.
