@vincent I thought so, from yesterday’s talk. That’s what prompted me to try the relaunch. It does work, but can’t make it do it without the forced quit and relaunch.

@maique I’m going to try and reproduce this. How do you change your text size? Is it from control centre or from the settings app?

@vincent Text settings are on the control center, Micro.blog only selected. Do I have you on Signal?? I can try to shoot the process and send it over.

@manton A few observations from a VoiceOver user: 1. The menu button isn’t labeled and doesn’t have button traits. 2. Same goes for the Close item in said menu. 3. The items in the menu have funny names, two words per item, like synonyms.

@benjohnson yay 🥳 Never heard of this one for the v3 beta, but know it was a thing in version 2 of the app (the one in the App Store). For version 3 it checks if your scrolling before allowing navigation to a conversation.

@mcg yeah. It was the web view. It was triggering a navigation as you scrolled. It thought you were tapping on it… it has no idea if it’s scrolling or not (in a way).

@vincent Love how nice the timelines scroll. And dynamic text seem to be working for me without restarting.

@MarcoZehe thank you for reporting this. There is a menu button on the top left of the screen (which also doubles as your profile image), in the header area, this opens the main menu. I will check the titles for the menu items here, I wonder if I set the wrong titles and/or keys.

@pajp I’ve had a look at alt text with an image, and it’s not throwing any errors. Can you try again?

@vincent Thank you for looking into it! The menu item for Mentions reads something like "Conversations Mentions" or such. And yeah, the spot at the top left that is the menu button is currently silent when tapping it once with VoiceOver on. As is the big area that closes the menu when double-tapped.

@jomalo There is bigger work to be done for this. At the moment it will always sync the last read post, so any third party app can make use of it. We'll eventually have it, but it needs more thought to get it right.

@vincent still doesn’t work for me. I wonder if there’s something special with my image or the alt text itself.

@vincent ok now it works with and without alt text, no idea what I did differently, if anything 🤷‍♂️
