@mbkriegh aww I haven’t. I can imagine he’d be wonderful. About Time is one of my favourite films. Anything with Bill being Bill floats my boat 😄

@mbkriegh I'd like to see it. I read the summary, and it's an admitted ripoff of Ikiru, one of my favorite movies ever (Have you seen it?) So I'll go into it feeling a bit suspicious, but Bill Nighy is great, so I'll hope for the best.

@JMaxB I haven’t seen the original but I plan to. My wife and I feel that in a strange way the Nighy version is almost Japanese. I suppose not a surprise given the original and the director. I can’t speak to whether you will be disappointed but it probably is as good a remake of a movie as you will see.
